As this year's WALL\THERAPY artists finish up their mural around town, we thought we'd share with you this segment about local artist, Lea Rizzo. Lea has participated in WALL\THERAPY and her murals can be seen around town, in the South Wedge and also in Highland Hospital. Since returning to Rochester after some time away, she has dedicated herself to getting art into the streets and into our everyday lives. Here's a look. Aired 7/24/15. 

It's that time of year again, every year for the past five years, a group of world renowned muralists comes to Rochester to join local artists in adding color, texture and vibrancy to our city streets through art. Wall\Therapy artists from across the globe will be in Rochester, painting walls around the city. Keep an eye out while you're out and about, you'll see once bare walls take on a new life as beautiful pieces of art. Rochester's South Wedge is home to public art, neighborhood festivals and culinary creativity. And while you might not think of chocolate or ice cream as the stuff of masterpieces, the people at Hedonist Chocolates channel their creative energy into small batch sweets. Aired 5/1/15.

The Rochester Museum and Science Center has mounted a comprehensive exhibition of the work of Leonardo Da Vinci. 'Da Vinci - The Genius' gives us a peek into the mind of an inherently curious man. A man who worked to further his understanding of the world around him and who built the foundations of much of what we know today. From civil and military engineering, to anatomy and, yes, art. The world famous Mona Lisa painting has a special place in this exhibit and we had the opportunity to sit down with Mona Lisa expert, Pascal Cotte, to learn some of the secrets of the painting.

The U.S. Greeting Card Association estimates that, worldwide, we Americans will send about a billion valentine's this year. It's the second most popular card-sending occasion, right behind Christmas. And it's all about love. Or is it? WXXI's Brenda Tremblay, morning host on Classical 91.5, discovered a trove of valentines that might make you flinch. Aired 2/13/15.

From The Top, the popular NPR series that presents musical performances of America's outstanding young classical musicians, recently traveled to Rochester’s Kodak Hall at the Eastman School of Music to tape a live show that featured Rochester-area students.
